The Toowoomba Hospital Foundation (THF) is a non‑profit organisation supporting Darling Downs Health across 30 hospitals and health facilities in our region. Through fundraising, community events, and our social enterprises, we help fund life‑saving equipment, patient care initiatives, staff training, and vital research — all to ensure the best possible healthcare for our community.
About the Role
We're looking for a creative and motivated Social Media and Marketing Officer to join our team.
This role plays a key part in sharing the incredible stories behind our work, from fundraising campaigns and community events to the impact of donations on patients, staff, and families. You'll manage our social media channels, create engaging content, and help deliver marketing campaigns that strengthen awareness and support for THF and our associated brands, including Wellbean Co and the Museum of Health.
It's the perfect opportunity for someone who loves storytelling, thrives on creativity, and wants to use their marketing skills to make a tangible difference in their community.
What You'll Do
Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn for THF and its associated brands to enhance brand awareness and community engagement.
Produce and curate multimedia content (photo, video, interviews, etc) that aligns with the strategic goals of THF and maintains brand consistency.
Monitor social media activity, respond to enquiries, report on performance and remain up‑to‑date with changing social media trends.
Build collaborative relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, to co‑ordinate and facilitate the storytelling of impactful narratives of patients, staff, volunteers, fundraisers, donors, sponsors, and community partners.
Support the development and delivery of marketing campaigns promoting THF's events, social enterprises (Wellbean Co and the Museum of Health), fundraising initiatives and community impact.
Provide general marketing support including assisting with copywriting, branding, advertising, media co‑ordination and developing general collateral; website updates and e‑newsletter creation; supporting campaign rollouts and marketing projects; coordinating digital competitions and fundraisers; collecting and reporting data and stakeholder feedback, as needed.
Follow defined organisational quality standards, work health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe work practices and workplaces.
Demonstrate commitment to the continuous development of your own professional skills and knowledge.

Experience working within community‑focused or non‑profit organisations.
Full Time fixed contract, 38 hour work week.
Be part of a purpose‑driven team making a difference in our community.
Work in a supportive, community‑minded environment.
Enjoy variety and impact in your day‑to‑day work.
Not for profit Salary Sacrifice benefits available.
