Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure food quality is maintained at high standards by presenting dishes that meet property expectations and serving them within designated timeframes.
* Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of working areas, preventing cross-contamination and adhering to local health and safety regulations.
* Stay vigilant about maintaining compliance with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety and food safety legislation.
* Contribute to achieving departmental targets as part of the team and demonstrate awareness of environmental responsibilities.
This position requires a passion for modern Asian cuisine and a willingness to handle various kitchen tasks, from dishwashing to crafting dishes.
Requirements:
* A culinary artist with experience in wok cooking (preferred) and a trade qualification.
* Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to deliver consistently high-quality food under pressure.
* Energetic and proactive individual who can build strong relationships with colleagues and guests.
The ideal candidate will have flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, and must possess working rights in Australia.
