Company & Job: A specialist crane service business is looking to hire a Field Service Technician (5 years experience) to work across industrial sites throughout Sydney. This role is focused on the inspection, servicing, fault finding, breakdown response, and repair of overhead gantry cranes and hoists across live industrial and manufacturing environments in Sydney. You can be based anywhere in Sydney and comes with a strong package including a $110k-$130k base, depending on experience, a company vehicle (Hilux), and overtime, package of $185k ! What you’ll be doing: Carry out inspection, servicing, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of overhead gantry cranes and hoists across industrial sites - Sydney Metro. Respond to breakdowns and complete field service work across live industrial, manufacturing, and production environments. Create your own daily schedules, work on your own, and be part of a team. Fault find across electrical and mechanical systems, including PLC fault finding, to diagnose issues and return equipment to service safely and efficiently Work on motors, VFDs, limit switches, control systems, contactors, relays, brakes, mechanical drives, and associated crane components. Read faults, assess equipment condition, and carry out repairs and maintenance in line with site and safety requirements. Complete service reports and represent the business professionally on client sites. About You: Dual Trade background as an Industrial Electrician or Fitter. You must have overhead gantry crane experience and must hold an Industrial Electrician licence.
