Key Responsibilities
Conduct air quality assessments for industry, buildings, infrastructure, and transport sectors throughout Australia
Consult on technical questions from clients, project managers, and colleagues
Plan and coordinate technical aspects of projects
Supervise and assign data collection, modelling, post-processing, analysis, interpretation, and documentation of technical results
Write technical reports and assist with proposal preparation
Support business development initiatives for the air-quality team
Lead technical roles in internal and external project teams to ensure technical excellence
Provide technical leadership to improve capacity and capability
Contribute to RWDI's global air-quality practice initiatives and share knowledge with international colleagues
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a science discipline
8+ years of relevant experience, with proven expertise in air-quality dispersion modelling (CALPUFF, AERMOD; GRAL an asset) and meteorological modelling (TAPM, CALMET; WRF an asset)
Full understanding of the current regulatory, planning framework, and technical guidance in NSW, QLD, or WA for air-quality assessments
Demonstrated experience leading air-quality projects in NSW, QLD, or WA
Proficient with engineering analytical tools, GIS (QGIS), ERP systems, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to act as the technical liaison between internal teams, external clients, and regulators
