Requirements for this role:
· No ''professional'' experience necessary, however must be familiar with a high-level editing platform e.g. Da Vinci Resolve or Adobe Premier Pro.
ABOUT YOU
You are probably studying any one of these undergraduate degrees:
- Creative Industries, Film and TV, Media, Journalism or Communication
- Marketing, Public Relations or Journalism,
- Human Resources or Adult Education
- Commerce or Business
Attributes:
- You are well-organised with good attention to detail.
- You currently gain credits or distinctions in your university studies.
- You have strong written and oral communication skills with attention to detail and can demonstrate this.
- Your work ethic is strong.
- You are computer-literate and competent with technology.
- You are willing to learn, work with focus and be reliable.
- You live in the greater Brisbane area and can work in person from our office in Kippa-Ring, (just over the bridge from Brighton or train from Central) one day per week or fortnight.
(This is not a work-from-home remote internship.)

LEARN HOW TO:
edit a 24-minute interview from the host's notes from the transcription, and combine:
· professional narrator voiceover for intro and outro
· licensed theme music
· post-production tools to even out the audio
· extract snippets to use in promotion on social media.
· promote our podcast by posting on social media, LinkedIn, our Facebook page, and Instagram
· Use our Canva account to create professional-looking episode thumbnails and other graphics
· copywriting - learn copy secrets of language that influences and sells.
· In addition, you can learn to edit any one of our 3 websites.
ABOUT OUR COMPANY
Brainpower Training Pty Ltd, delivers training workshops, face-to-face and live online, business to business (B2B) in communication and people skills – Business Writing, Time Management, Speed Reading, Customer Service, Leadership, Teamwork and Change.

Contract trainers are in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth and service clients Australia-wide.
We moved into podcasting in ****; now at episode 175 and in its sixth year.
Your typical activities include:
• edit then schedule the most recent episode of our "Manage Self, Lead Others" podcast - usually 24 minutes, with music and intro and outro - including devising show notes extracted from the transcript using AI (following our procedure).
• This is fun. .. Brainstorming ideas and copy for current and new projects
• Assist with technical aspects of filming and recording
• Be comfortable with Outlook for email.
If there's time in the day - and if you want to - other digital marketing can include either:
• CRM management - managing our lists, adding tags to contacts, scheduling EDMs
• SEM (search engine marketing) audits
• SEO (search engine optimisation) maintaining currency of our Wordpress, Wix and Go High level sites
• Use Canva to create graphics for YouTube thumbnails
