Position Summary
The Account Manager is professionally responsible for the development and implementation of sales strategies and plans to acquire new business, and meet or exceed annual sales goals to grow market share.
The individual is also professionally responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships at assigned accounts while engaging with distributors to ensure effective and efficient utilization of resources.
This customer-facing role will be responsible for meeting or exceeding allocated sales targets through growing existing business / developing new business for all RA products / services / solutions portfolio through a disciplined planning and sales execution process. He / She is also responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships at assigned accounts while engaging with distributors to ensure effective and efficient utilization of resources.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain a collaborative relationship with the RA Distributor/s.
* Maintain a collaborative relationship with internal stakeholders.
* Develop and execute account plans for assigned account packages
* Adopt the company's disciplined approach to managing sales opportunities and front-log using available sales tools.
* Ensure customer satisfaction through regular contacts / visits. Facilitate resolution of customer issues.
* Analyse current business levels against allocated sales target and provide monthly, quarterly and yearly sales forecasts.
* Stay current on Industry trends, competitors, market drivers and RA offerings.
* Perform any other relevant duties as and when assigned by immediate Manager.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
* Degree in Business, Software, Networks, Mechatronics, IT, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline
* Experience in Technical Sales
* Minimum of 5 years selling experience
* Comfortable and experienced in communicating with C Suite level
* Experience in Channel Management and Distribution will be an added advantage
* Strong understanding of Sales Process and promote / advocate company values such as DEI
* Knowledgeable in using CRM
