About the role:
Reporting to the Director, Allied Health RAP, some of your duties for the role will include:
* Provide consultancy and peer support on complex cases
* Ongoing monitoring and evaluation of services provided by the allied health team and implementing service change and development accordingly
* Initiating and leading quality and service improvement activities, which may include research activities where appropriate
* Budget preparation, monitoring and reporting and adherence to resources allocations
About you:
* Demonstrated skills in communication, liaison, administration and teamwork. Able to apply these skills in resolving management, administrative and professional problems, and in communicating with professional and management staff
* Ability to apply specialist skills in assessing and resolving clinical problems in multi-disciplinary consultation and liaison
* Clinical experience as a senior allied health practitioner within a subacute setting, including clinical experience with complex patients
* Recent experience working in a specialist geriatric inpatient unit
