Job Description Reporting to the Transport Supervisor, the position includes the following responsibilities: Ensure compliance with all of SCT's WHS policies, procedures and applicable state and federal legislation Running maneuvering, navigating, or driving HME, pallet jacks Ability to use technology and scanners Application of load restraint to freight loads Manual handling of freight items Handling and storing load restraint equipment. Inspecting and controlling equipment to identify wear and damage Ensuring goods are stored in correct areas so that they can be easily located when orders are made up Transporting goods to designated areas in warehouses, and shipping terminals Monitoring equipment operation visually through gauges and instruments and through computerized monitoring equipment. Experience in a freight scanning environment. Stocking of freight. Prestart checks – Vehicle 360 checks, HME maintenance, tyre pressures, cleanliness of HME. Safety compliance. Desirable Sound knowledge of local areas. Forklift ticket desirable. Previous EPJ experience desirable.
