Job Details
* Part‐time, 22.5 hrs/week (ideally Monday–Wednesday)
* Norwest location with onsite parking
Responsibilities
* Process end‐to‐end payroll across fortnightly and monthly cycles, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Maintain payroll systems and employee records, including calculations, data entry and reporting.
* Interpret and apply relevant Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
* Respond to employee queries on pay, leave, time and attendance and other payroll matters.
* Collaborate with HR on monthly reporting, data changes, onboarding, and general administrative support.
* Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, ensuring compliance with policies and legislation.
* Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation and insights.
* Provide occasional project and administrative support for broader HR initiatives.
About You
Essential:
* 5+ years end‐to‐end payroll experience working in a similar sized organization
* Knowledge of relevant Awards and Enterprise Bargaining Agreements
* Proven working knowledge of payroll systems and time & attendance systems
* Experience in ADP, Payroll Metrics and/or other similar payroll system(s)
* Highly organised, detail‐oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
* An effective communicator who builds strong, positive relationships across all levels of the organisation.
* A collaborative team contributor who can also work confidently and independently when needed.
Desirable:
* Previous administration experience in a medical / clinic environment.
* Preferred experience in system migration or participating in the implementation of new payroll software.
Additional Requirements
To be eligible to apply, you must have full working rights in Australia/NZ, a valid Driver's Licence, the ability to travel nationally and internationally as required and be fully vaccinated against COVID‐19.
