Oracle/Payroll Business Analyst

FinXL is seeking a Oracle HCM/Payroll Business Analyst to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading insurance client on a key transformation engagement.
Responsibilities
* Lead workshops to gather and document detailed functional requirements
* Translate business needs into functional specifications and workbooks
* Assist in configuring payroll elements to ensure accurate processing
* Identify gaps between standard functionality and business processes
* Develop test scenarios and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
* Troubleshoot functional defects during testing cycles
* Liaise between the Payroll business unit and the implementation partner
Key Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in Oracle Cloud HCM (Payroll module) implementation
* Deep understanding of Australian Payroll legislation and agreements
* Ability to write clear functional design documents and workbooks
* Strong communication skills for non-technical stakeholder engagement
* Basic understanding of Oracle Fast Formula is highly desirable
* Experience bridging business requirements and technical solutions
* Capability to manage complex award interpretation requirements
