Business Operations Assistant
This role is part of a busy and supportive team within Corrections Victoria. The primary responsibility of the Business Operations Assistant will be to provide administrative support to the area's financial and risk management functions.
The ideal candidate will have experience in government purchasing processes and procedures, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
A key aspect of this role will be assisting with monthly, periodical, and annual financial processes, including journals, adjustments, and BUFI stocktakes.
Coordinating meetings and stakeholder engagement activities will also be an essential part of the job, including scheduling, agendas, and minutes.
Additionally, the Business Operations Assistant will collect statistical information, analyse it, prepare reports, obtain quotes, and prepare estimates for works and services.
Work location flexibility is available, allowing the successful candidate to choose between working in Geelong or Ballarat.
