We are seeking a talented individual to fill the role of Marketing and Communications Specialist. This position is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and has a passion for communication.
About the Role:
* This is a 12-month fixed-term, full-time position commencing Term 3, 2025 with possible permanency.
* The successful applicant will be responsible for managing public relations, marketing, media, and communications for the school.
* This includes managing the school's website, annual Year Book publication, and communications across various channels.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage the broader community.
* Manage the school's social media presence and create engaging content.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.
* Coordinate promotional events and activities to raise awareness about the school's programs and initiatives.
Requirements:
* A strong understanding of marketing principles and practices.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in computer applications, including graphic design software.
Working Conditions:
The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of social media platforms and the ability to actively seek out new opportunities to increase the reach of communications within the broader community.
