Compensation Range: $60,000 - $80,000

Reporting to the Associate Director of Development Advisory, the Assistant Quantity Surveyor is passionate about helping clients manage their construction costs. As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will support the team with financial efficiency through the various stages of construction.
Key Responsibilities
* Support cost analyses, estimates, cost plans and feasibility studies for construction projects.
* Assist with trade and elemental take‐off.
* Assist with measuring quantities for variations and manage risks related to changes.
* Undertake site visits and complete valuations of work completed on site.
* Prepare cash flows.
* Assist with client relations and establish a client's requirements.
* Support expert advice on cost‐effective construction methods and materials.
* Undertake cost analysis and feasibility studies.
Key Qualifications
* Working towards an accreditation in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
* 0–2 years of Quantity Surveying experience (not required; current students accepted).
* Membership in an approved professional body (e.g., AIQS, RICS, CIOB).
* Knowledge of the local construction industry, including development, contracting, and consulting sectors.
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving abilities.
* Self‐motivated with a high degree of integrity, honesty, and ethics.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Current Quantity Surveyor level candidates looking to progress to Senior are encouraged to apply.
