About Residential Aged Care
Where care meets purpose - At Wesley Mission Queensland, our Residential Aged Care team is more than just a workplace, it’s a community built on compassion, dignity, and respect. We have twelve residential homes located at Sinnamon Village, Chermside and Bray Park. Our homes have a diverse range of residents which provides numerous opportunities for our passionate employees to connect and grow meaningful relationships while supporting their quality of life.
About the role
We are currently seeking Casual Personal Carer to work across multiple shifts at our facilities located in Sinnamon Park.

You will work as part of a team to provide personal care in a neighborhood community-like environment for residents. As a Personal Carer you will complete activities that include:
- Assist residents to attain and maintain their optimum degree of independence, dignity, privacy and quality of life
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of information about resident care and wellbeing through appropriate channels to the Registered/Clinical Nurse or Facility Manager
- Take a proactive approach to the health and safety of residents, staff and visitors and share ideas for improvement
About you
We are seeking applicants with the following:
Our Personal Carers are passionate about what they do, are driven by a career with purpose and vital to our model of care for all residents. For your application to be considered, we look for the following skills, qualifications and experience:
- Certificate III in Individual Support
- Full Australian Working rights
- Excellent communication skills enabling you to communicate effectively with residents, team members and visitors
- Ability to understand and follow through with instructions, processes and procedures in a busy environment
- Basic knowledge of technology
