Registered Nurse, Grade 5 – Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Award.
Salary: $109,767 – $115,813 per annum (pro rata).
Region & Location
North and North West Tasmania.
We are seeking clinicians to provide services to children, young people and families facing complex mental health concerns.
Role Overview
Provide complex case management, assessment, and individual therapies, including specialised treatment programmes under Youth Mental Health, Youth Forensic Mental Health, and Out of Home Care initiatives.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, consultant psychiatrists, and support other clinicians as needed.
Evidence‐based therapeutic interventions such as CBT, DBT, Family Therapy, and ACT are highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver quality care to clients based on best practice principles.
* Provide specialist assessment and treatment services to clients and families/carers.
* Promote community awareness of mental health and act as a consultant to other agencies.
Qualifications and Experience
* Registered Nurse, Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
* Current Working with Children Registration.
* Minimum of 2 years post‐graduate experience relevant to the role.
* Post‐graduate qualification or currently working towards one.
* Current Driver's Licence (desirable).
* Experience in evidence‐based therapeutic interventions (CBT, DBT, Family Therapy, ACT).
