About the Role
We are seeking a friendly, confident, and highly organised Front Desk Receptionist to join our team.
This role is much more than answering phones — it is about building rapport, creating meaningful patient relationships, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic.
You will be the key liaison between patients, practitioners, and the broader clinic team, ensuring every interaction reflects the Thrive values.
Key Responsibilities
* Be the
first point of contact
for patients, both in person and over the phone
* Create an exceptional first impression by being
Friendly, Intelligent, Resourceful, Self-disciplined and Trustworthy (FIRST)
* Answer and manage incoming calls and voice messages professionally and efficiently
* Book, amend, and manage patient appointments
* Accurately process payments and ethically promote clinic services and products
* Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and data entry
* Assist patients with questions, paperwork, and general care
* Maintain patient accounts, including personal and financial details
* Ensure the reception area and clinic present clean, professional, and welcoming at all times
* Assist with stock control and report needs or concerns to the Practice Manager
* Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information
* Contribute positively as part of a collaborative clinic team
* Follow clinic systems, procedures, and professional standards
About You

Skills & Experience
* Previous administration or reception experience (healthcare preferred)
* Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and EFTPOS systems
* Confidence using phone systems and office equipment
* Enthusiastic, patient-focused approach to customer service
* Trustworthiness, discretion, and self-discipline
