Technical Assistant – Australian Clinical Labs – Adelaide Airport SA
We are seeking a Technical Assistant to join our dedicated laboratory team within the busy Biochemistry department of our Core Laboratory at the Adelaide Airport Facility.
Part Time
Day and Evening work
Specific duties include:
* Ensure that all company WH&S requirements are observed.
* Maintain a high quality, team‑focused, accurate and efficient work environment.
* Maintain and operate automated laboratory analyzers.
* Assist in reagent, quality control and calibration material preparation and management.
* Prioritise specimens through interpretation of referrals and clinical notes.
* Determine the correct sample requirements for the tests requested.
* Excellent communication skills in dealing with internal and external clients.
Skills and experience:
* Relevant experience working in a pathology laboratory is an advantage.
* Previous experience with automated equipment is an advantage.
* High attention to detail and experience working in a fast‑paced environment.
* Enthusiastic and flexible approach to work.
* Ability to multitask and successfully work as part of a team.
* Exceptional time‑management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
* Available to work a flexible roster, including weekends and public holidays.
