Supervisor - Maintenance
Location: Murwillumbah, New South Wales
This role supervises work teams carrying out civil engineering maintenance projects on roads, bridges, stormwater drainage and related public infrastructure assets throughout Tweed Shire. The position requires technical investigation of issues, planning, providing advice and communicating information to management, engineers, staff, contractors and community members.
Responsibilities
* Supervise work teams and manage performance, skills training and productivity of staff.
* Allocate and schedule staff, contractors and plant for civil maintenance and minor construction works.
* Manage timeframes and budget allocations to ensure completion of works.

* Base salary ranging from $84,316 to $99,874 per annum, plus 12% super.

Qualifications
* Certificate IV in Civil Construction, Frontline Management or equivalent and extensive civil construction experience.
* Demonstrated ability to plan ahead, foresee and resolve future problems.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and direct staff to achieve objectives.
* Experience in a supervisor role, managing teams and resolving staff conflict.
* A self‑motivated team player willing to make a positive difference for the community.
Desired Skills
* Certificate IV in Assessment & Workplace Training.
* Local Government/Public Sector experience.
* General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
