Description Overview
This leadership role requires an experienced executive to facilitate and drive results in a fast-paced environment, leveraging strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
* Strategic decision-making related to balancing demand and supply;
* Generating long and short-term production schedules aligning volume and mix with capacity and capability;
* Improving the current planning model;
* Engaging with internal and external stakeholders on operational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage aggregation of the demand plan process across product categories and brands, producing a rolling 12-18 month estimate of unconstrained future demand.
Conduct rough cut capacity and scenario planning to understand potential production bottlenecks and engage with stakeholders to increase or fill capacity.
Develop, monitor, and revise production and resourcing plans to meet customer needs.
Achieve customer service supply objectives and develop supporting metrics that enable Operations, Quality, and Procurement teams to achieve service level targets.
Sound analytical and problem-solving ability.
SAP production planning and master data maintenance.
Requirements:
To succeed in this position, you will have:
* Related tertiary qualifications and at least 5 year's experience in a demand planning position ideally in the Pharmaceutical or FMCG industries.
* Knowledge and experience in MRP and ERP systems inventory control, materials requirements planning, item master, demand planning, and scheduling.
* Able to communicate effectively with senior management, peers, colleagues, and external customers.
* People management experience including strong interpersonal and leadership skills: meeting facilitation, skill sharing and training, conflict management, relationship management.
* Knowledgeable in lean principles/methodologies.
