About the Opportunity
As a Systems Administrator within Infrastructure Operations – Enterprise Services, your day-to-day will involve keeping infrastructure healthy and drama-free: maintaining and updating custom images, applying patches, performing firmware updates, managing an on-prem domain and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. You will provide on-prem infrastructure requirements to our customer and business projects. This position can be based out of our Adelaide or Melbourne office with flexible hybrid work arrangements on offer.
Principal Accountabilities
Administer Linux systems (RHEL/OEL/Ubuntu)
Manage and troubleshoot on-prem Linux fleet with an infrastructure management solution such as Satellite or equivalent
Automate everything: PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, Terraform
Contribute to security assessments and implement necessary security measures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
Build RHEL servers for ongoing business & project requirements, primarily utilising the company's virtualisation platforms
Work within a support-focused team stream
Administer monitoring systems such as Zabbix, Dynatrace
Administer similar systems in classified & air-gapped networks
Experience in Oracle Enterprise Linux, Exadata platforms, OLVM/Oracle KVM environments is an advantage
Work in a energetic, multi-faceted team with opportunities to administer Windows-based & database (SQL/Oracle) systems
About You
You're a Systems Administrator at heart, skilled with Linux technologies, patching, image management and firmware. You enjoy keeping systems rock solid, and you bring hands-on skills and problem-solving smarts, alongside automation expertise with PowerShell, Bash, Ansible or Terraform. You work well across teams, share knowledge and roll up your sleeves for BAU support. You care about keeping infrastructure secure, stable and future-ready.
