The Role
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Sugar Cane Harvest Worker to join a harvesting operation in Ingham, QLD. This role focuses on operating cane harvesters and supporting seasonal production, ideal for someone with machinery experience and a strong work ethic in outdoor environments.
What You'll Do:
In this role, you will support day-to-day harvesting operations, with a focus on machinery operation, maintenance, and safe work practices.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
* Operate sugar cane harvesters and associate machinery safely and efficiently
* Support harvesting operations to maintain productivity and quality output
* Conduct daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance on equipment
* Identify mechanical issues and perform minor repairs or report faults
* Maintain accurate records of equipment performance and maintenance
* Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
* Assist with general farm and harvesting duties as required
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment around machinery
Benefits:
