Cabramatta High School is a comprehensive, coeducational high school located in South West Sydney. The school has a total student population of over 1500 students, and includes an Intensive English Centre and Support Unit. 96% of students are from a language background other than English, with fifty-five cultural groups represented in the school. The school has a strong focus on academic excellence, collaborative practice, holistic education, wellbeing programs, innovative professional learning and community partnerships.
Qualifications & Selection Criteria
* Approval to teach Hospitality – Commercial Cookery.
* Well‐developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work as a collaborative member of the Home Economics faculty.
* Capacity to create a positive classroom environment that is engaging, inclusive and fosters a culture of high expectations.
* Demonstrated strength in managing classrooms and overseeing practical learning environments.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
