Secondary Teacher | Science (Physics/Chemistry)

Our client is looking for a committed and adaptable Senior Science Teacher to join their school community from Term 1, 2026. This full-time ongoing role is ideal for someone passionate about teaching senior Science, especially Physics and chemistry, though broader science or mathematics teaching skills are also valued. You will also support the academic and holistic development of students in a supportive community.

Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality Physics and Chemistry lessons according to curriculum requirements
* Teach junior Science classes where needed to support the broader Science program
* Design assessments, monitor student progress and provide timely feedback
* Develop engaging learning experiences that promote curiosity, critical thinking and personal bests
* Contribute to the well-being and pastoral care of students, participating in the school's pastoral programme
* Collaborate with colleagues across departments to support the school's mission, values and sense of community
* Support co-curricular and broader school life as required
What we are looking for
* TRBWA registered teacher or eligible for registration
* Working With Children Check
* Full working rights
* Strong knowledge of senior secondary Physics and Chemistry (or closely related science fields)
* Ability to teach across the range of senior and junior science levels with flexibility and enthusiasm
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine interest in student growth and well-being
* Capacity to work collaboratively and contribute positively to a faith-based school environment
* Commitment to supporting a culture of respect, inclusion, personal best and community connection
* Willingness to contribute to pastoral care, co-curricular life and school values beyond the classroom
