Overview
SCHN-Children's Hospital Westmead is looking for a qualified Sonographer (Paediatric experience highly desirable) to join our medical imaging department. The position will also include a radiography component. Grading will be applied to match qualification. Advance US trainees are also welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
To perform quality diagnostic imaging procedures as required by various medical and surgical departments within the policy and procedures guidelines of the medical imaging department SCHN-CHW.
Leading Ultrasound imaging services to clients and patients of the SCHN-CHW, demonstrating a high level of knowledge and proficiency in Ultrasound. Active participation in training and educating other MRS is a vital key component of this role.
Qualifications
- High level Ultrasound experience supporting a tertiary level Ultrasound service
- Experience supporting the full range of Ultrasound examinations, including paediatrics, Body, musculoskeletal, vascular
