Your Role
This position offers an outstanding opportunity to build on your past experience in Safety & Sustainability. Primarily implementing fatality & injury prevention, sustainability projects and injury management, providing advice and assistance on safety culture improvement, health, safety and sustainability management systems as well as current safety legislation. You will support line leaders by assisting with health, safety, sustainability, RTW and training improvements and associated day to day activities.
We are open to candidates looking for full time or part time options and offer great flexibility.
Responsibilities
1. Support the development of QLD sites S&S Improvement plans to ensure compliance with company procedures and standards and external legislation
2. Collaborate and participate in site management team meetings
3. Actively work with all members of the DuluxGroup S&S Network to drive efficient use of limited resources through continuous improvement of common systems and sharing of resources and learnings
4. Participate in S&S training and competency development programs and lead the sites with compliance with site safety protocols, policies and procedures

Skills & Experience
1. Relevant industry experience is preferred over formal qualifications, but a health and safety or applied science degree is desirable
2. Influencing skills to build relationships with all employees, supervisors and managers
3. Strong communication skills to interact with all levels of the business, from frontline workers to site managers and higher
4. Basic computer skills for data analysis
5. Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
6. Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
