You will provide strategic, financial, and operational leadership for Council's Sewer/STEDS and Water schemes, ensuring the delivery of safe, reliable, and efficient water and wastewater services to the community. The role is responsible for the
management and optimisation of infrastructure across civil, mechanical, electrical, control systems and asset management disciplines. This includes leading a skilled team, fostering a culture of service excellence, and ensuring compliance with all
relevant legislation, standards and guidelines. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires a practical approach – being on-site when needed, working with tools, overseeing teams, and managing contractors to support effective service delivery.

Hours 76 hour fortnight (some out of hours work may required).

The successful applicant must have relevant qualifications and experience with knowledge of water and wastewater infrastructure.
Level 6 – starting at $106,957 p.a. plus statutory superannuation. (In accordance with the Yorke Peninsula Council Municipal Officers Enterprise Agreement No 8, 2024).
