We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled individual to fill the position of Acting Deputy Head of Learning in Residence (Boarding), Boys and Programs at our Glen Waverley campus.

About the Role
This is a 0.6 FTE leave replacement position for Term 4, 2025 & 2026 school year.
The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the boarding program, including roster management and liaison with internal and external suppliers.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in managing a boarding school, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality educational experiences.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the boarding program, including roster management and liaison with internal and external suppliers;
* Supervise and support boarding staff to ensure the provision of a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for students;
* Develop and implement programs to enhance the academic, social, and emotional development of students;
* Liaise with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration;
* Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to promote the welfare and safety of students.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* A relevant teaching qualification or equivalent experience;
* Previous experience in managing a boarding school, preferably in a senior leadership role;
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with staff, students, and parents;
* Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects;
* A commitment to promoting the welfare and safety of students, with a strong understanding of child protection principles and practices.
