Seeking experienced Technical Writers for onsite roles. The successful candidates will support operational activities, maintenance tasks to ensure our clients' team work safety and efficiency. This opportunity suits a Technical Writer with a strong mining operations and/or maintenance background, who is comfortable working onsite within rostered environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, review, and maintain high-quality technical documentation to support operations and maintenance activities
* Work closely with site-based teams to capture accurate operational and maintenance information
* Ensure documentation aligns with site standards, safety requirements, and operational best practice
* Support continuous improvement through clear, consistent, and compliant documentation
About You
You will ideally bring:
* Proven experience in operations and/or maintenance within the mining industry, Iron Ore experience highly regarded
* Demonstrated technical writing expertise, producing clear, concise, and accurate documentation
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and MS Office tools
* Experience document work-flowing in Document Management System software platforms
* Previous experience working onsite on a FIFO basis
* Flexibility to adapt to roster changes and site-based work requirements
* A strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and reliability
Contract Details
* Initial 6-month contract, with potential extension up to 12 months
* Onsite role with roster (e.g. 5:2, 4:3, or potentially 8:6) to be confirmed based on client requirements
