Join to apply for the Research Associate Analyst – Macquarie Capital, Equities role at Macquarie Group. The Equities Research team focuses on industrial sectors and provides commentary to assist institutional clients with investment decisions.
As an Associate Analyst you will work closely with the Lead Analyst to provide financial analysis and modelling support, contribute to sector commentary, prepare company reports and presentations, build financial models, analyse large data sets, and attend corporate and advisory sessions. You will engage with company management, industry experts and conferences to gather facts and generate ideas.
What you offer (Qualifications)
* 2+ years direct experience in Equities analysis, strategy or consulting
* Strong technical capabilities including financial modelling, research and report writing skills
* Ability to communicate with clear logic and confidence
* Understanding of valuation and pricing techniques, plus strong critical thinking skills to unpack industrial businesses
* Ability to build relationships with peers, sales teams and clients
* Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting or a technical field that combines financial acumen
* Postgraduate qualifications such as CA or CFA are highly regarded
