Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. **What you'll be doing**
The purpose of this position is to improve the health of people living in Western Sydney by contributing to Population Health's program of work, in line with the Ministry of Health and Western Sydney Local Health District's (WSLHD) goals, principles and strategies.
The position will contribute to the development and achievement of Population Health's strategic directions and operations and is accountable for achieving annual targets as set down by the NSW Ministry of Health, LHD, Integrated and Community Health Directorate and Population Health.

**Selection Criteria**:
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of policy advice in a complex and multi-disciplinary environment
- Demonstrated high level experience in project planning, implementation and evaluation of population health programs and understanding of research and quality improvement methodologies
- Demonstrated leadership skills in the development of population health programs aligned to strategic priorities
- Highly developed communication, presentation, coaching and facilitation skills including a variety of writing and editing styles (reports, research & evaluation, briefs, media, translation of population health information)
- Demonstrated successful people management experience with medium sized professional teams
- Demonstrated effectiveness in establishing and maintaining collaborative partnerships both internally and externally and negotiating effectively to achieve health goals
- Current Valid Australian Driver's license
