About the role
The Technician - Blasting provides field support with a strong emphasis on blast design and EBS support.
What you will be doing
* Key Accountabilities
* Supports SHEC initiatives where appropriate
* Writes incident reports
* Develops Customer Technical Relationships
* Delivers contracted TS commitments
* Represents Customer needs and business development opportunity identification
* Analyses blast measurements and assessing performance against a baseline
* Introduces new products and services
* Develops case studies
* Participates in complex misfire investigation
* Drives Product application stewardship
* Trains and accredits customers in Orica TBT\'s, courses, products and systems
* Trains and mentors Operations personnel, Technicians and Graduates
What you will bring
* With tertiary or technical qualification - up to 2 years experience post qualification.
* Without formal qualifications - up to 10 years of administrative experience, or allocation of work to operators.
* Role dependent – technical &/or functional business system applications required for tasks (e.g. SAP, SF, Concur, analytics/visualisation tools, engineering software, etc.)
* Span of control: Headcount – X Direct
* Sphere of influence: Team / Discipline level SME
* Insert tertiary qualification required for role (e.g. Accountant must have a tertiary degree in an Accounting discipline, an Engineer must have a tertiary degree in an Engineering discipline) OR Technical qualification / legistlative / SHES certification
