**Role and Responsibilities**
We are looking for a Qualified Flying Instructor C-130J. We are seeking a suitably qualified individual to provide specialist instruction (ground school, simulator and live aircraft), conduct training development (development of courseware and training materials), technical and administrative support in the execution of C-130J pilot training.

**Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:
- Personally and, as part of a team of Pilot Instructors and Operators, provide ground based, simulator and live aircraft instruction for RAAF students
- Report to and work with the Lead Instructor C-130J Training CAE
- Assess trainees
- Identify and remediate students experiencing difficulties in achieving required competencies
- Completion of all training administrative tasks (Assessment, student reporting, etc.)
- Assess courseware against operation of simulation training devices and work with a team of Training Development Specialists to suitably amend as required
- Work with a team of Training Development Specialists to suitably develop courseware and training materials
- Drive growth of the Contract through being regarded as highly professional and credible
- Participate in learning activities
- Abide by all CAE WHS policies and legislated regulations
**Qualifications and Experience**
- Minimum 1000 command hours on multi-engine, multi-crew, medium/heavy aircraft or agreed equivalent
- Minimum two years instructional experience in an aircrew training environment
- Previous experience as a military flying instructor (Qualified Flying Instructor),
- Have the ability to obtain and maintain a Qualified Flying Instructor Category by the Central Flying School
- Previous pilot check and training experience on C-130J (highly desirable)
- Experience in the design and development of aircrew training materials (desirable)
**Note**:_As the Australian Department of Defence is a major client, you_** **must** **_be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance._**
