Job Title:
Clinical Educator - Renal Dialysis and Hospital Care
Role Overview:
As a Clinical Nurse Educator in our renal dialysis team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering high-quality clinical education programs. You will work closely with management, educators, and clinical teams to plan, deliver, and evaluate education aligned with organisational goals.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and implementing clinical education initiatives that promote safe, compassionate, and person-centred care
* Providing mentorship and preceptorship to support the development of nursing staff across all levels
* Applying adult learning principles and diverse teaching strategies to build capability within the team
* Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary health care teams to achieve quality improvement and risk management initiatives

Requirements:
* Demonstrated understanding of competency-based assessment and experience in education/clinical teaching
* Recent renal dialysis nursing experience and demonstrated teaching/CNE experience
* Ability to effectively communicate and engage with patients/consumers, carers, and the multidisciplinary health care team
* Knowledge and understanding of person-centred care, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement
* Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2)
