Job Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Commis Chef to join our kitchen team.
Main Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook menu items according to established guidelines and quality standards.
* Support senior chefs with various tasks, including food assembly and presentation.
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to high standards of hygiene and safety.
Requirements:
* Certificate 3 or 4 in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification).
* Food Safety Certification.
* Experience working in fast-paced pub/bistro environments.
* In-depth knowledge of cooking methods and recipe execution.
* Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
