Market Operations Associate
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Market Operations Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing operational support to our business units, ensuring the smooth execution of market operations, and driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide deal support, including initial operational setup, managing life-cycle event transactions, and addressing related queries from internal and external stakeholders.
* Support daily operations by facilitating internal and external cash transactions, coordinating funding requirements, and providing support for the execution of foreign exchange trades.
* Assist with various reporting requirements to maintain accurate financial records and develop strong relationships with stakeholders to manage operational support requirements.
Requirements:
* 1+ years prior experience in an operations, finance or related role
* A passion for financial markets and a desire to build a career in the financial services industry
* Strong attention to detail, combined with demonstrated ability to work well to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Exceptional communication and prioritization skills
* An innovative and transformational mindset, ready to drive change and challenge the status-quo
* Analytical thinker and self-motivated with the ability to navigate ambiguity
* Tertiary degree in Commerce or a business-related area is highly regarded
* Experience using analytical software such as Alteryx, Power BI, and platforms that leverage AI is valuable
