The Wilson Mining business is an integral part of services offered by The Mastermyne Group of Companies. It provides critical support and services to existing clients and pushes the envelope with leading edge technology and strata consolidation methods. Due to continued growth, we are now seeking an Operations Coordinator to join the team.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Queensland Operations Manager, working alongside a close-knit team, the Operations Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of critical specialist services throughout Queensland.
Experienced Underground Supervisors, Coordinators & Trainer Assessors, are encouraged to apply. Candidates with a background in chemical consolidation and injection shall be shortlisted. To be successful in this role you will need to be experienced in the following:
5. Leadership: Working closely with small teams to deliver excellent results
6. Hands on: Ready to get underground, mentor and lead crews when required.
7. Project manage: Coordinate projects, manage workforce, provide budget estimates, report to internal and external stakeholders.
8. Business development: Managing and maintaining relationships with clients to understand and deliver their needs;
9. Technical nous: Understand injection plans, deliver training, creating work instructions; SOPs, SWIs, JSAs;
10. Safety Leadership: Comfortable in addressing, investigating and implementing effective controls. Facilitation of Risk Assessments.
11. Procurement: Maintaining, ordering and auditing product and stock;
12. Good Communicator: Strike up conversation with operators, Managers, clients, corporate teams.

13. Experience in strata support, organising and supervising crews
14. Delivery of work that meets mine site requirements and industry standards;
15. Displaying excellent safety leadership;
16. Demonstrated underground coal mining experience with longwall, outbye; not mandatory but preferable to have experience in polymeric applications/ injections;
17. Current Standard 11;
18. Current QLD Coal Board Medical;
19. Cert IV Trainer/ Assessor;
20. S123 & G2;
21. Valid Driver’s Licence.
