JOIN THE TEAM

Reporting directly to the General Manager Marketing Target, this senior leadership role is responsible for owning and delivering the end‐to‐end national communications and campaign program across the annual marketing calendar.

You will manage a complex and high‐volume campaign roadmap, and partner closely with senior stakeholders across the business to drive commercial and brand outcomes.

This role leads a team and manages a significant marketing budget, requiring a strong balance of strategic thinking, execution excellence, and outstanding stakeholder engagement.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
* Lead the national communications and campaign strategy, ensuring alignment to Target's brand, commercial priorities and annual marketing calendar
* Own the end‐to‐end planning, delivery and optimisation of integrated marketing campaigns across all channels (including traditional, digital, CRM, in‐store and personalisation)
* Manage a large, complex marketing calendar with multiple concurrent campaigns and competing deadlines
* Translate customer, performance and business insights into effective go‐to‐market and channel strategies that drive growth
* Build strong, productive relationships with senior internal stakeholders across Marketing, Merchandise, Digital, Insights, Creative, PR & Social, Operations and Planning
* Lead and manage agency partnerships, including creative and media agencies, driving high performance and value
* Provide strong people leadership, coaching and development to a high‐performing communications team
* Manage and optimise a $10m+ media budget, with a strong focus on efficiency, attribution and commercial outcomes
* Drive continuous improvement across processes, campaign execution and ways of working
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
* 10–15 years' experience in senior communications or marketing roles, ideally within retail, FMCG, agency or major consumer brands
* Proven experience leading large‐scale, integrated marketing campaigns at a national level
* Demonstrated ability to successfully manage competing priorities and tight deadlines in fast‐paced environments
* Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and partner at all levels of the organisation
* Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience managing significant marketing budgets
* Experience leading, coaching and developing leaders within a high‐performing team
* Strategic mindset combined with strong operational and execution capability
