Regional Laboratory Services (RLS) is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our NATA-accredited Veterinary Pathology and Analytical Testing Laboratory located in Benalla, North-Eastern Victoria.
This full-time position forms part of a dedicated team providing high-quality, laboratory-based pathology services to clients across Australia. Our core activities include veterinary biochemistry, haematology, and analytical testing within a NATA-accredited quality framework.
This role is ideal for someone with an interest in clinical pathology who is looking to broaden their skills and gain experience in a dynamic diagnostic laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform a range of veterinary biochemistry and haematology assays
* Contribute to analytical testing workflows within a NATA quality system
* Operate laboratory instrumentation, including opportunity to gain experience with ICP-MS and other analytical instrumentation.
* Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and participate in quality assurance activities
* Work collaboratively within a small, supportive team
About You
* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or pathology laboratory experience (desirable but not essential)
* Experience with ICP-MS highly regarded
* Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to quality
* Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively
* Interest in veterinary or clinical pathology
