Position Overview:
We are seeking qualified bakers who take pride in their craft and are eager to contribute to our bakery’s success. As a baker at Big Loaf factory, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of products while maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Mix and bake a wide range of artisan and specialty breads, using old style traditional methods (Experience with sourdough a must).
Follow recipes and production procedures to ensure consistency and quality in all products.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
Collaborate with the team to innovate and develop new recipes and menu items.
Assist in training and mentoring junior bakers and kitchen staff.
Qualifications:
Baker Qualification and/or experience
Solid understanding of baking techniques and ingredients.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality baked goods.
Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Available for early morning shifts - 2am.
