About the role
As the Branch Manager at Hudson Civil Products, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing our Derwent Park, Tasmania branch. This is a full-time position that will see you oversee all aspects of the branch's operations, ensuring we deliver exceptional service and products to our valued customers across the region.
Candidates must hold Australian citizenship or permanent residency to be eligible for this position.
What you'll be doing
* Develop and implement strategic plans to drive sales growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the customer experience
* Liaise with senior management to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities
* Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and company policies
* Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, providing coaching and development opportunities for the team
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and suppliers
* Prepare and analyse financial reports to monitor branch performance and identify areas for improvement
What we're looking for
* Proven experience in a sales management or branch manager role, preferably within the civil construction or building supplies industry
* Minimum of 3-5 years of sales management or branch manager experience required
* Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
* Strong financial acumen and the ability to interpret and act on performance data
* Exceptional customer service orientation and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in a business or management-related field are highly desirable
