Discipline: Water Treatment Engineers/Plumbers
Our client is a well-regarded water management company known for providing professional water treatment/hygiene and legionella services to clients nationwide.
They are currently recruiting for a committed and multi-disciplined Water Treatment Engineer/Plumber based in and around the Cambridge area.
The successful candidate will be a qualified remedial plumber and will also be experienced in carrying out routine water treatment duties to a mixed portfolio of clients.
Applications will be considered from Bury St Edmunds, Bedford, Ely, Bishop's Stortford and the surrounding areas.
Experience:
Must have extensive experience working as a Water Treatment Engineer within the water treatment industry.
Hands on experience carrying out remedial plumbing to a mixed portfolio of sites.
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing would be advantageous.
Fully conversant with Health & Safety procedures/legislation and the water treatment industry.
Ideally have a good chemical, technical and educational background.
Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Duties Will Entail:
Carrying out cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold-water systems, boilers, cooling towers, shower heads and flushing.
Descaling and disinfection and tank cleans and dosing.
Carrying out temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analysing water systems and interpreting the results.
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on all dosing equipment as and when required.
Completing worksheets for work carried out appropriately.
Building and maintaining a good rapport with the company's mixed portfolio of clients.
Collating and providing accurate reports.
Visiting sites as per client's requirements.
The successful post-holder will be versatile, flexible, have good work ethic and at the same time have the ability to carry out the work effectively and within timeline and must be flexible with regards to travelling.
