Overview
Busy Tier 2 builder are looking for an all round Site Supervisor to join the team to work on a $110 mil healthcare project. They are an industry leader, winning continuous work and specialise in projects up to $750mil. As the Site Supervisor, you will work closely with the Site Manager to oversee the successful delivery of projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality benchmarks, and project timelines. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, coordinating subcontractors, and communicating effectively with the project team. You will have experience with finishes to be considered for this role, they are looking for someone to take ownership of these packages.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Site Manager in coordinating and supervising all construction activities
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
* Oversee the excavation, structure and finishes phases of the project
* Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are met
* Provide leadership and guidance to site staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
* Monitor project progress and report to the Site Manager on a regular basis
* Act as a mentor to junior staff, preparing them for future leadership roles
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Foreman delivering projects in excess of $30m
* Previous experience with a Tier 1-2 construction companies
* Have experience with finishes and facade on previous projects
* Good proven tenure at previous companies
* Strong commitment to safety and excellent communication skills
* Proficiency in managing excavation and structure phases of construction projects
* A can do attitude and good work ethic
* Ability to effectively lead a team and solve problems under pressure
