As the Project Accountant, you will:
* Assist with maintenance of the business' Project Management systems, tools & procedures.
* Plan, implement & manage project Cost Control systems.
* The preparation of annual budgets, monthly financial analysis and invoicing.
* Report on project budget status, including cost performance, cash flow, and forecasts as required.
* Plan, implement & manage project Schedules.
* Provide regular and accurate reports to Project Managers, the Project Services Lead, and other internal & external business stakeholders.

The Person
You will be a highly self-motivated individual, ideally with advanced understanding of cost control and total cost management. An ability to learn, assess problems, and identify potential solutions.
* Have previous experience as a Financial Accountant or supplying data/reports to assist with Financial End of Month activities/reports.
* Clear and communicable understanding of cost accounting, cost classification, cost types, costs development, cost control, change management and the cost management process.
* Sound time and task management skills.
* High level of attention to detail.
* A strong moral compass, as evidenced by your honesty, care and respect for others and willingness to share and learn.
* An ability to clearly communicate with stakeholders; being able to present information in a suitable format depending on the audience.
