Key tasks include:
* Develop and implement learning programs based on your knowledge of each child, their interests and goals using the Early Years Learning Framework
* Mentoring co educators
* Ensuring families, children and other educators have a sense of belonging
* Assess learning and effectively reflect on all aspects of the program cycle
* Nurture and provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment for children
* Maintain a range of records as required under the National Quality Standards
* Maintain a high level of cleanliness
* Working in a team environment and willingness to contribute to daily tasks equally
* Contributing to the Centre's Quality Improvement Plan.
Skills and experience:
* An Early Childhood Degree or actively working towards degree (min 50% complete)
* Previous experience working in an early education and care service under the National Quality Framework
* Demonstrated ability to complete the planning cycle to support children to achieve positive learning outcomes
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Outstanding phone manner and customer service when talking with families
* Positive attitude with a focus on teamwork
* Professional presentation
* Highly organised
* Current First Aid Certificates
* Current Working with Children's Check
