The Role:
Fitness Cartel Australia is actively seeking a
Regional Performance
Manager
to oversee a cluster of Fitness Cartel Clubs in the South Brisbane Region.
As the
Regional Performance
Manager,
you will
be
responsible for
managing and driving the EBITDA performance of the Clubs in
your
region, mitigating
risks
and implementing improvement processes whilst coaching and mentoring
your
Club General Manager direct reports
.
This role requires someone
strong in sales
, with proven experience in driving revenue growth, leading sales campaigns, and developing strategies to maximise membership acquisition, retention, and overall club profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Overseeing a group of big-box gyms, ensuring membership satisfaction, retention rates, and ensuring engagement remains high.
* Conducting regular visits to ensure standards are consistently met and exceeded.
* Ensure all clubs in region achieve monthly, quarterly & annual growth targets across all sales streams.
* Ensure all clubs in regional achieve EBITDA performance and profitability.
* Deliver and lead a supportive and high performing culture in the businesses within the region, across all departments.
* Educate, implement and support quarterly and seasonal sales campaigns and collaborations with clubs.
* Develop initiatives to help underperforming clubs achieve budget.
* Coach & mentor Club General Managers in all areas of operations & people management to ensure Clubs are operating efficiently.
* Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with Club General Managers to identify areas of risk, and opportunities in the region.
* Proactively manage club-based consumer brand feedback, responding and resolving to member feedback in reasonable timeframes.
* Work with and support functional departments, and revenue source stakeholders to achieve KPIs within the region.
* Resolving critical customer issues, maintaining a commitment to outstanding service.
* Nurturing and developing a high-performance team, aligned with the company's core values and strategic objectives.
*What
You'll
Need to Succeed:*
To excel as the
Regional Performance Manager
,
you'll
need
experience in a similar
performance driven
role
, ideally within
a big-box gym
or other
health and fitness
organisations
, and/or multi-site operations.
* Exceptional leadership and communication skills for effective collaboration across the clubs.
* Solid track record in driving performance, achieving sales goals, and effectively managing teams across various locations.
* Proven ability to lead through significant changes, such as new club openings or club expansion.
* Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with a focus on policy system implementation.
* An understanding of gym operations, the industry and the current market trends.
* Must have Australian Citizenship or full Australian working rights.
