Job Description
We are seeking a Sales Account Manager to join our team. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining engagement with existing customers and developing new business opportunities through a proactive weekly call plan.
You will also maintain the call plan and pipeline activities through the CRM Opportunities & Activities Module, capture all profitable sales within designated territory to achieve or exceed national market share average, update the CRM with opportunities and quotations on a weekly basis, and ensure data is kept up to date, relevant and accurate including lost sales.
In addition, you will coordinate machine deliveries in a professional and timely manner, analyze and report on sales trends, competitive actions, internal intelligence, and competitor actions at sales meetings, and develop and implement initiatives to increase profitability through expenditure cost savings.
As a Sales Account Manager, you will also build, foster, and retain good working relations with key decision-makers within customer organizational structures and internal departments by utilizing the Customer Support Charter as guiding principles for all business interactions.
Moreover, you will maintain product knowledge through regular product training and attendance and successful completion of National Construction Division Training (NCDT), and be actively involved in the preparation and attendance at industry Functions/Networking and field day events when directed/required.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed as a Sales Account Manager, you must have a proven background in Construction & Utility Equipment Industry sales, be able to demonstrate product knowledge including mechanical and technical data, and possess highly developed sales skills with an ability to develop and maintain a proactive call plan.
Additionally, you should be well-organized, results-oriented, customer-centric with well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal, and have strong computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Power Point, Excel, and Social Media.
Good analytical and conceptual skills are also essential, as well as the ability to implement corporate policy and contribute to a zero-harm culture in the workplace.
