About the Role
This position requires a detail-oriented problem solver who is both hands-on and can support/delegate tasks within the team effectively.
This person thrives on continuous system and process improvements and is responsible for overseeing fortnightly payroll and the interface to the Human Resource function of the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a team by prioritising and allocating work and supporting upskilling team members on a daily basis.
* Prepare, review, and analyse month-end and quarterly reporting within set deadlines.
* Assist the Chief Financial Officer to deliver statutory reporting and financial audit requirements without adverse comment.
* Review all Balance Sheet reconciliations in a manner that provides insight and creates useful information.
* Prepare and lodge necessary reports and returns, such as taxes and Workers Compensation.
* Monitor data integrity and maintain a high level of accuracy.
* Proactively identify and act on ongoing/new areas of opportunity through finance and non-finance operational efficiencies and process improvements.
* Administer the Corporate Credit Card facility and support weekly vendor payment cycles.
