About the Role
We’re currently looking for a Junior Receptionist to join us. You’ll be the welcoming face and voice of the office, helping clients feel at ease and supporting our team with everyday admin. Full training will be provided, so this role is ideal for someone starting out in administration or returning to the workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Manning the phone and responding to client enquiries
- Monitoring the reception inbox and passing on messages
- Greeting clients and booking appointments
- Preparing meeting rooms and light refreshments
- Scanning, filing, and general admin tasks
- Assisting the team with document preparation and other project work
- Assisting with client follow-up enquiries
- Collecting and posting client and office mail
- Light tidying of shared spaces (reception, kitchen, meeting rooms)
- Occasionally preparing team celebration morning tea or lunch
What We’re Looking For
- A friendly, respectful, and professional manner
- Average typing speed 50 words per minute
- Good communication and time management skills
- A willingness to learn and contribute to a team
- A strong sense of discretion and respect for client confidentiality
- Sound moral judgement and the ability to handle sensitive information appropriately
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook)
- No formal experience required — training will be provided
