The Role: Service Consultant
As a Service Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for homeowners, managing maintenance enquiries and coordinating solutions in a professional and timely manner. You'll work closely with internal teams and trade partners to ensure issues are resolved efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
* Act as the primary point of contact for maintenance-related client enquiries
* Manage incoming phone and email enquiries professionally
* Provide clear advice and guide clients through next steps and expectations
* Coordinate inspections, maintenance works, and service requests
* Liaise with supervisors, site teams, and trade partners
* Escalate complex queries and formal complaints where required
* Accurately record all client communications in internal systems
* Provide regular updates to clients on progress and outcomes
* Process invoices and documentation accurately and on time
Who We A0Are Looking For
* Proven experience in a customer service, service consultant, or client liaison role
* Experience within the residential construction or building industry
* Previous exposure to insurance-related building or maintenance work will be highly regarded
* Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* High attention to detail and strong computer literacy
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
* Proactive, resilient, and solutions-focused
* A strong team player with a positive attitude
