Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Engineering Manager, - Rail, based in Melbourne, VIC, with some flexibility for remote work. The key responsibilities include leading engineering efforts, managing teams, working with the clients engineering and design teams to streamline optimal outcomes, overseeing project management interfaces, and ensuring seamless integration within complex infrastructure projects and the Contractor. The Engineering Manager will also collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and compliance with relevant standard
Qualifications
* Proven expertise in Engineering Management and Team Leadership
* Experience in overseeing Tier one contractors.
* Extensive experience in Victorian Rail and ARTC.
* Has ARTO (MTM/VlIne/ARTC) comptency in one or more engineering disciplince to review designs.
* Strong Project Management skills, including tracking time, cost and reporting.
* Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders effectively
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
* Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related discipline
* Extensive experience with Rail & Civil infrastructure projects
* Experience in the transportation or government infrastructure sector is advantageous
